Unlimited telephone & email support I am available for you to ask questions by telephone and e-mail during pregnancy and postnatally. We will also debrief about the birth and answer any other questions that you may have. 2 Postpartum visits in your home In these visits I provide help with breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding, routines and general newborn care. I stay with you for the duration of your labour as well as an hour or two after the birth to help initiate breastfeeding and answer questions you may have. During labour, suggest position changes, I will help with relaxation and comfort techniques, provide massage and use aromatherapy and homeopathy if wanted. When you are in labour, you can call me at anytime and I will meet you at home or at the hospital. 24/7 on-call availability to attend your birth beginning two weeks before your estimated due date until you have given birth. You can use me as a sounding board when something concerns you and you don't know if you want to "bother" your care provider or not. Then again, sometimes you just need someone to vent to about your pregnancy and I'm happy to be that person! Continuous support during labour and birth. If you feel like you need someone to talk to about your pregnancy or impending birth, you are welcome to contact me via phone or email between visits. Support by e-mail and phone between visits. Prenatal Pamper Session A 30-minute prenatal pampering session during one of our prenatal meetings: including an aromatherapy foot bath and hand and foot massage or aroma and music therapy; and guided relaxation. Generally these appointments are two hours. These visits are held in the comfort of your home. These visits enable us to develop a friendly, caring and trusting relationship, which is important for your labour day. We will talk about what you want and what your needs are. At times research is necessary for some special circumstances of your pregnancy and birth, we also discuss expectations and comfort measures and just generally get to know each other. My Birth Doula service includes: FREE Initial interview It is important to find the right person to support you. This is why I offer you the opportunity to meet with me, ask me questions, and see if you feel comfortable with me. This is usually done in a coffee shop or somewhere convenient to you. This is a decision that could change your birth experience so I want you to feel confident in your decision. My services include continuous support through entire labour and birth; help creating your birth plan and working through fears and anxieties surrounding birth; and support 24/7 by phone and email during the oncall period and phone support during pregnancy and after birth to help ease the transition. My service provides support to women and their partners during pregnancy, through labour and birth, as well as the early weeks at home. The cost of my services is $850. (more).
