The Orchard Cottage is comfortable, self contained and is located in the lush green Hills of the Dandenongs east of Melbourne. You have privacy, tranquillity and comfort while staying in the Orchard Cottage. /> There is the forest on one side, the orchard in front of the Veranda with views over the grassy paddocks on the other side. And out of every window there is a view. Upstairs you will find a rich mixture of Jarrah and recycled Hardwood flooring. The cottage has only been completed recently, and yet has all the rustic charm of Timber paneling and Terracotta floor tiles downstairs. The Yarra Valley Wineries and the Dandenong Ranges attractions just add to the package for a restful holiday. There are views over the newly established orchard (hence the name), the forest and the paddocks. It is situated in idyllic and (very) quiet surroundings close to Gembrook. And to keep the temperature under control you have the choice of enjoying the warmth and atmosphere of a Coonara log fire in winter, or keeping your cool thanks to the reverse cycle air conditioning in summer.
